Course Description

In brief: Anatomy of Expression is an in-depth hands-on study of the anatomy of the head for artists, forensic scientists, animators, anthropologists, and zoologists. The course involves hands-on forensic reconstruction and an individual project of your choice among the following options:  comparative anatomy, anatomy in conceptual art, digital mesh construction for animation, and traditional portrait sculpture. The course is offered through the eLearning Institute of Penn State.
