I am a mathematician studying algebraic geometry and algebraic dynamics, particularly:

  • Automorphisms of higher-dimensional varieties
  • Height and degree growth under rational maps
  • The minimal model program and Zariski decompositions
  • Classical algebraic geometry

Links to papers can be found at my research page.

For a not-too-technical introduction to the geometry I'm interested in, check out the summary. Some of the phenomena I study first appear for surfaces moving in three dimensions — this is a useful testing ground for understanding what can happen in more general spaces.
