Hello

I am a graduate from The Pennsylvania State University with a PhD in Geography. My academic focus is on the demographics and movement of the people and commodities of the sugar trade in colonial Barbados, from around 1650 to the late 1700s. Spatially, my work focuses mainly on Barbados, with links to England, the Carolinas, and other origins and destinations of the settlers and indentured servants. My dissertation can be found here➚.

My Masters research➚ was on the patterns of wealth of Barbados c. 1680.

My undergraduate degree is from Kent State University. I graduated with a double major in Geography and Archeology, and wrote an Honor’s Thesis on the impact of sinkholes on the culture of the ancient Maya of Yucatán (found here). You can also find a more complete list of information in my CV.
