A "Simple" Planetary Nebula
This object was described by Balick et al. as "one of the
morphologically simplest planetaries in the sky," but here the bright
inner region (diameter 6.4 arcsec) resolves into a complex
structure with linear features pointing away from the central star. A very
smooth, faint halo surrounds the bright region.
